SHAPESHIFTING
Archetypal Exploration & Intuitive Guidance

It is natural to look at the tapestry of our life and wonder where to go next. I offer symbolic guidance through the use of oracle cards, tarot, and English runes. This provides folk with a unique opportunity to step outside their own emotional landscape and gain fresh perspectives on their situations.

When we are deeply involved in our own experiences, it can be challenging to see beyond our immediate feelings and assumptions. These tools work as mirrors, reflecting back archetypal energies and patterns that can unlock new insights. By engaging with the symbols in these cards and runes, people are invited to tap into their intuition and connect with a broader, more objective view. The process allows for clarity to emerge, highlighting pathways, strengths, or hidden truths that may be difficult to access when we're too close to a problem.

Whether seeking guidance on relationships, career choices, or personal growth, these tools create a space for reflection that gently nudges the individual towards a deeper understanding of their own journey.

Charm and Affirmation Wordsmith

Every word that is uttered is a spell. It is through our wordwork, and the wordwork that we have grown up with, that our worlds are created. Much like spoken word, the written word has the power to create or destroy life. We see this daily even with this like legislation that is passed. This is the magic of writing.

Written charms and affirmations are both forms of intentional writing designed to influence the mind, emotions, and energy of the person receiving them, but they serve slightly different purposes.

Charms are typically short, powerful phrases or symbols, often created with a specific intention in mind, such as protection, healing, love, or success. These charms might be crafted with personal symbols, words, or even poetic expressions that resonate deeply with the recipient's unique needs or situation. The charm can be written on a piece of paper, a card, or incorporated into a physical object that the recipient keeps close, like a talisman. The goal is for the charm to act as a conduit for positive energy or a reminder of the intention it holds, offering protection, empowerment, or guidance.

Affirmations, on the other hand, are positive statements or phrases that affirm a desired reality or reinforce a person’s inner strength. They are typically written in the present tense, framed as though the desired outcome is already true, such as "I am confident and capable" or "I attract love and abundance." When repeated regularly, affirmations help to shift mindset, overcome limiting beliefs, and reprogram the subconscious to align with the person’s goals or desires.

Writing charms and affirmations for clients is a deeply personal act of care and empowerment. By creating these written tools, I am able to help clients focus their energy, thoughts, and intentions in a purposeful way. For the client, having a written charm or affirmation is a tangible reminder of their strength or the goals they are working toward.

Folk interested in having personalized charms and affirmations written for them just need to shoot me an email to discuss the details. Charms can be just written and sent via email, or crafted into a talisman and mailed or delivered. Affirmations come in a group of 10-20 and can either by just written and sent out via email, or recorded on a personal meditation track.

Pleasurable Movement Wayfinder

At the heart of cultivating a pleasurable movement practice—dropping into ones body, and coming to know themselves more intimately—is Somatics. Somatics refers to the study and practice of how the body and mind are interconnected, particularly in terms of bodily sensations, movement, and self-awareness. It emphasizes the body's role in experiencing, processing, and expressing emotions, thoughts, and experiences. Unlike traditional approaches to health that may focus primarily on the physical body or the mind, somatics integrates both, recognizing that mental and emotional states can profoundly influence bodily sensations, and vice versa.

The word "somatic" comes from the Greek word soma, which means "body." In somatics, the body is seen as a living, conscious entity that holds and communicates information about our past experiences, traumas, and emotions. Somatic practices involve becoming more aware of and attuned to bodily sensations, such as tension, pain, or discomfort, as well as relaxation and ease. By cultivating this awareness, individuals can begin to release stored tension, trauma, or stress and foster a deeper connection between their mind, body, and emotions.

Somatic therapies or practices may include activities like somatic experiencing, which focuses on releasing trauma through bodily awareness, yoga, dance, breathwork, and other body-centered techniques. These practices aim to help individuals become more present in their bodies, improve physical and emotional health, and promote healing by allowing the body to process stored emotions and release stress in a safe, supported way. Somatics offers a holistic approach to well-being, helping people reconnect with their innate bodily wisdom to foster healing, self-awareness, and personal growth

As a somatic practitioner I focus on somatic exercise, sacral dancing, breathwork, and radical rest. I guide individuals through gentle, intentional movements that help them develop greater awareness of their body with the goal of improving physical and emotional well-being. My primary focus is on helping clients connect more deeply with their bodily sensations, experience an abundance of deep relaxation, and practice movement patterns that encourage the release of tension from the body, reduce stress, and promote embodied self-awareness. I help clients tune in to how their bodies feel in real time, teaching them to notice areas of discomfort, restriction, or emotional tension that may be held in the body.
