If you are currently enrolled a Hypnobabies—or other hypno-birthing childbirth— course, it is deeply beneficial to have a birth doula that is well-versed and experienced in self-hypnosis during childbirth providing support during your birth and early postpartum. If you are interested in hypnosis during childbirth and would like to know more do not hesitate to ask! Please reach out so that we might discuss options for your joyful birthing time in more detail.
The following offer is priced at $2000 and is only for those intending to take the Hypnobabies® Childbirth Course either in-person or through the Hypnobabies® Home Study Course.
As a certified Hypnobabies® hypno-doula I provide…
I am also open to and available for virtual birth support. However, if you are interested in birth support virtually it is important for us to discuss one-on-one what that would look like. Virtual birth support is available for all birthing folk, regardless of their moving through any sort of hypno-birthing program. In general virtual birth support can include anything from text/phone support, birth education, support in birth planning, resource compilation for informed-consent in your area, and lactation, somatics, and breathwork support via zoom. Please reach out for inquiries.
I offer an online birth education course at a sliding scale price. I also am willing and able to curate reading lists based on the interests, needs, and concerns of the birthing person. These can be anything from source material on pregnancy, birth, lactation, preparing for the postpartum period, and/or parenting. There is also an option of compiling viewing lists of documentaries, videos, and/or podcasts for those who do not have the space for reading. For access to these lists and source materials please inquire via email. Prices are sliding scale.
Starting in Spring of 2025 I will be a certified Hypnobabies® Hypnobirthing Educator and will be providing hypnobirthing education courses. Stay tuned!
Folk who are interested in learning more about what plant allies are helpful throughout each phase of pregnancy and beyond are encouraged to set up a Prenatal Herbal Support Consult. A tarot reading can be a powerful tool for birthing people seeking guidance and emotional support during pregnancy. The process offers a reflective space to explore feelings, fears, and hopes for both the birthing person and the baby. Tarot can help illuminate the deeper emotional and spiritual aspects of the pregnancy journey, offering clarity on personal challenges, changes, and transitions. For instance, cards can highlight themes of nurturing, strength, or potential obstacles, encouraging the birthing person to trust their intuition and embrace the changes in their life. A reading can also provide reassurance, helping to alleviate anxiety and create a sense of connection to the baby, as well as to the larger process of motherhood. Overall, tarot readings offer an opportunity for self-care, reflection, and empowerment.
Birthing people who are interested in receiving tarot readings are welcome to do so even if they are not a Hypnobabies® birthing client. Tarot reading prices vary depending on the type of pull.
An example of these pulls is as follows, but this is also something that can be customized based on situation and necessity.
In September of 2020 I birthed my first son. It was during that pregnancy that everything I had grown up learning about issues Black and Brown birthing people face really hit home. I was never visited by a lactation consultant during my stay at the hospital and due to the pandemic I had to find resources and learn how to breastfeed my baby totally alone. I was very fortunate that I did not have many issues, but the same cannot be said for so many people who want to give their human babies human milk and are left to their own devices.
Chest/breastfeeding is as much intuitive as it is tricky and it is natural to need help or want advice when getting started. People have been offering their babies human milk for millennia upon millennia, and in doing so have traditionally had someone trusted to go to for seeking counsel and support. But in the 21st Century the landscape can seem barren. The village that new parents could turn to does not exist for many of us.
Learning about disparities in lactation, seeing them first hand, and personally experiencing the lack of support led to my becoming a Certified Lactation Educator Specialist (CLES) through BreastfeedLA three years later after the birth of my second son. I am currently working to begin obtaining clinical hours necessary to sit for the IBLCE exam and become an IBCLC.
I am trained to help lactating people navigate their chest/breastfeeding journey by presenting latching, positioning, and milk expression techniques, as well as evidence-based information to help boost self-efficacy in the parent/baby nursing dyad and aid folk in reaching their chest/breastfeeding goals. I provide sliding scale lactation education and support for QTBIPOC folk who generally have the least access to equitable, inclusive, and culturally humble care.
The one-on-one lactation services I offer consist of phone/text support and in-person home visits to folk in and around Portland, OR. These sessions are $100 sliding scale. I also offer virtual sessions to all.
Human milk is an ancestral birth right and chest/breastfeeding is more than just a personal choice. It is an international public health imperative. If you are looking for inclusive and empowering support as you embark on your lactation journey get in touch.
Navigating your options when you have discovered you are pregnant can be scary and isolating. If you are seeking abortion information and support I provide culturally humble and trauma informed care.
Abortion support packages include the following services…
Packages are customizable and sliding scale priced from $25-$555 based on what services you are needing.
